Pros:
The display looks good with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and 9.7 inches touchscreen. It has a Apple A4 1 GHz processor which runs on iPhone OS 3.2. iPad is 12.7 mm slim weighing 680 grams. Coming to the features of connectivity, iPad supports Optional 3G connectivity (only data), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity along with EDR. The battery can withstand for 10 hours and even for a month in stand-by mode.
The key feature to be noted is its compatibility with any iPhone app without a need for alterations. The more features include Accelerometer and compass, Haptics feedback and iBook application. The keyboard dock can be bought separately which makes the users to experience a nettop. iPad’s cheapest model is less when compared to an unlocked iPhone.
iPad has huge number of designer cases which will make your iPad look good and at the same time gives the maximum protection. iPad case is one of the biggest pro of an iPad.
Cons:
iPad lacks multitasking support and Flash for the web browser. It neither has a USB port nor a USB host. Users have to pay more to get USB connectivity. It does not have a slot for memory card either. It does not have a camera and a real GPS receiver. iPad supports GPS via cell-tower triangulation. 3G models cannot use usual SIM, micro-SIM has to be used.
iTunes is a must for uploading contents. Typing is not that comfort and dock is required for the iPad to stand on a table. The battery cannot be exchanged. iPad should be handled with care since it seems to be dropped off easily.
